I was born and raised in the Tri-Cities, graduating from Pasco High School in 1990 and Washington State University in 1997. Although I would love to live in the deepest part of a mountain range, I have a love for our crazy hot summers in the Tri-Cities and have recently learned to love the cold as our family has taken up snowboarding. If you know me or talk to me for any length of time you'll find out quickly that I love running. I’ve been a runner for almost 30 years. It started as a fun way for me to be competitive while running the 1 mile during PE in high school. Eventually running turned into a passion for health and fitness and even moreso, I discovered that it was a way for me to grow spiritually. The Lord has used this passion of mine to cross valleys and peaks in my life, meet my husband, and give me children that would eventually lead me to Liberty Christian School.
I love having the opportunity to share my passion for health and fitness with the students and families at LCS. Daily I get to share my passion for Christ and my passion for Glorifying Him through honoring His temple; our physical bodies. I love seeing the smiles on the kids' faces, I love pushing them to new levels and sharing my heart with them and I love our school and the heart-beat for Christ that it possesses.

Bizarre Fact One year, my husband and I qualified and competed in the Olympic Distance Triathlon USA National Championships. At this race, although we raced the exact course we had two separate starting times over an hour apart. Upon finishing the race at different times of the day and reconnecting with one another we discovered our overall finishing time (the time it took us to complete the race course) was the exact same time down to the hundredth of the second. |
